…Ojo promises to invest more in public utilities in the years ahead.

A notable group, Okinlua Support for BAO has on Saturday 27th of January 2024, honoured the executive chairman of Ado -Central Local Council Development Area, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, Engr Toyin Ojo as the best performing chairman on social amenities.
This was contained in an address by the group’s chairman Hon. Olowojegure in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital.
He said that Engr. Ojo was honoured in recognition of his passion, dedication, selfless service and outstanding performance in bringing sucours to the people of his council area.
Ekiti News reports that Olowojegure described Engr. Ojo as a pillar of motivation and reference for others to emulate in public service delivery.
In his reaction, Engr Ojo congratulated the convener of Okinlua group for BAO for the successful conduct of the programme and expressed delight in receiving the award bestowed on him.
He said, “I have received several awards in my first term in office, all were in recognition of our outstanding performance in office. Today, another one is being given and thank you for the honour done.
“I would not have done anything spectacular or special in the office if not for the massive support and robust collaboration that exist between me and Ekiti governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji.
“Mr Governor gives me and my colleagues free hand to operate without any undue interference in the running of affairs at the local governments. I’m promising to invest more on public utilities in the years ahead.”
The presentation of the award to Ojo was done by HRM, Oba Dr. John Adegbenro Falore Ajibade III, the Olufaki of Ifaki Kingdom, who was the Royal Father of the day.
