…Onboarded new team members

In line with the vision of the Independent Project Monitoring Office, (IPMO) of ensuring judicious, effective and efficient execution of capital projects in order to have value for money in Ekiti, the Speical Adviser to the Governor on Independent Project Monitoring (IPMO) Hon Olufemi Ajayi held another fruitful deliberations with all staff of IPMO on Monday 1st July, 2024.

According to a statement signed by the IPMO Admin Secretary, Segun Adebayo on Monday in Ado-Ekiti, the meeting, chaired by the Special Adviser, had in attendance Admninistrative Secretary of the Office: Mr. Segun Adebayo and three Senior Special Assistants to Mr. Governor; Hon Olufemi Olarewaju (N), Hon Kehinde Boluwade Bolics (S), Hon Lanre Fasuan (C) as well as other Professionals/Technical Officers.

Adebayo said that the meeting reviewed the monitoring activities of the office and strategized to improve on current accomplishment so that the shared prosperity agenda of H.E Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji would continue to manifest in the nook and cranny of Ekiti in terms of quality and impactful capital projects.

The hallmark of the meeting was the onboarding of three (3) recently appointed Senior Special Assistants (Mr Mufu Apata-Oye LG, Mr.Suleiman Muhyindeen Olu- Ido/Osi LG) and Mr Ogundana Sikuru -Ekiti East) and a Special Assistant: Mr Yisa Muftau- Ekiti SouthWest LG. They were introduced to IPMO modus operandi and formally integrated to the Monitoring Team.

The meeting discussed the intricacies in project assessment and monitoring and proffer probably solutions to making the team formidable in ensuring implementation of projects according to specifications and standards across the State.

Feedback on the performances of the technological monitoring equipment of IPMO were also reviewed with the identification of other technologies to leverage on for objective and qualitative project assessment/monitoring

The IPMO Team, under the leadership of Hon Olufemi Ajayi, would continue with its mission of regular monitoring and evaluation of capital projects with zero tolerance to sub-standard in project implementation under Governor BOA led administration.
