The Ekiti State government delegation at the US -Africa Business Summit in Dallas, USA, led by Governor Biodun Oyebanji, on Friday, met with the Power Africa and DFC teams to further deepen private sector investments in the State, Ekiti News reports.

The meeting with Power Africa focused on maximising Ekiti State’s recently enhanced autonomy in power sector regulation. Ekiti State Government initiated discussions to woo investments that will improve the power supply in the state by introducing sustainable and efficient clean energy solutions.

The meeting with DFC focussed on the State’s special economic zones, specifically to attract more private sector operators into the State’s Special Agri-Processing Zone (SAPZ) and Ekiti Knowledge Zone (EKZ).
