The Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti, HRM. Oba (Dr.) John Adegbenro Falore, Ajigbade III, attended the inauguration of Hon. Bayo Famoroti as the new Secretary of Isokan Local Council Development Area of Ekiti State.

Ekiti News reports that the event, held yesterday at the Council Secretariat along Aaye/Ifaki road, Ifaki-Ekiti was graced by the royal presence.

The inauguration saw the presence of significant dignitaries, including Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi represented by Hon. Tunde Aladegbami, Hon. Ibrahim Kunle Olarewaju, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives), was represented by his political family.

Also in attendance were Hon. Abiodun Fawekun, House of Assembly Member representing Ido/Osi Constituency 1, and various other notable individuals.

According to a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Oluwasegun Aina, Oba Adegbenro extended congratulations to Famoroti on his swearing-in describing him as a Round Peg in a Round Hole.

Oba Adegbenro expressed gratitude to Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for deeming him worthy of the appointment, alongside Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi and Hon. Ibrahim Kunle Olarewaju, with whom Famoroti had worked, providing positive commendations about him.

Expanding on his remarks, Oba Adegbenro commended the commendable initiative of the Local Council Development Area in Ekiti State, highlighting its role in fostering grassroots political participation.

He emphasized that Famoroti’s appointment would not have been possible without the existence of Isokan LCDA. The Oba urged the council leadership to prioritize the interests of the people, suggesting initiatives such as farming and other developmental ideas to bring progress to the area.

Oba Adegbenro encouraged Hon. Ogundaisi’s administration in Isokan LCDA to ensure the completion of ongoing projects.

He appealed to those challenging the outcome of the last Chairmanship election in Isokan LCDA to set aside differences and collaborate with the current administration for the collective progress of all.

Isokan LCDA Chairman, Hon. Ogundaisi, assured of an inclusive administration, pledging to involve everyone and address all aspects. Additionally, the Head of Administration emphasized that adequate funding of Local Government Administration is vital for development.

In his earlier remarks, the new Secretary of the council, Bayo Famoroti, expressed gratitude to Olufaki for attending the significant event alongside his wife, community chiefs, and well-wishers.
