Ekiti News reports that Hon. Wale Oladele was today inaugurated as the new Secretary of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Damilare Ajayi.
The historic event took place at the office of the Executive Chairman Council Area in Aisegba-Ekiti, featuring opening remarks from the Council HLA, Mr. Omotayo Titiloye.
He extended a warm welcome to all attendees and expressed gratitude to the Governor for swift approval of the appointment of council secretaries.
Mr. Titiloye urged the new secretary to exhibit unwavering loyalty to the council chairman and offered prayers for a successful tenure. The secretary then formally affirmed the oath of office and oath of allegiance.
During the event, Mr. Omotayo Peter, the Director of Information and Orientation of Gbonyin LCDA, briefly highlighted some of the achievements of Mr. Chairman during his first tenure in office, commending and giving kudos to him for the accomplishments.
Following the inauguration, Hon. Damilare Ajayi, the Council boss, emphasized the importance of loyalty, support, prudence, transparency, and accountability to the new Secretary.
He urged adherence to rules for the overall interests of the people, aiming for more achievements and leaving a positive legacy for Gbonyin Local Council Development Area.
Hon. Ajayi analyzed the dos and don’ts, he expressed appreciation to council workers for their unwavering support, and extended thanks to chiefs, political leaders, party members, Iyaloja and Iyalajes, security personnel, family, friends, and other well-wishers present.
Chief Anthony Ajila, the Director of Administration conveyed complimentary words and extended congratulations to the New Secretary. He encouraged the New Secretary to consistently give his best, be prepared to make sacrifices, and show respect for authority.
The newly inaugurated Secretary, Hon. Wale Oladele, expressed gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for the appointment.
He assured the Executive Chairman, Hon. Damilare Ajayi, of his commitment to providing maximum cooperation. Hon. Oladele pledged to work collaboratively with the council management team for the progress of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area.
