In a demonstration of goodwill, the management and student representatives of Matter Christi Girls High School, renowned as the School of Princesses in Igede-Ekiti, led by Reverend Sister Victor Ndukwu, visited the Executive Chairman of Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government, Hon Gbenga Oluwatuyi, on Tuesday, 16th January, 2023.

Ekiti News reports that the purpose of the visit, as stated by Reverend Sister Ndukwu, was to extend congratulations to the LG boss on his electoral victory and subsequent swearing-in as the local government chairman.

Ekiti News reports Reverend Sister Ndukwu introduced the school as a three-time undefeated academic champion, holding the esteemed title of the best private school in Ekiti State.

She also added that Matter Christi Girls High School, was celebrated for its exceptional academic performance, and proudly represented Ekiti State Government in a national academic competition, emerging as the first runner-up nationwide.

Responding to the visit, Executive Chairman Gbenga Oluwatuyi expressed his joy and satisfaction with the school’s remarkable academic achievements.

He said, “I am well aware of the outstanding performance of Matter Christi Girls High School, Igede-Ekiti. Beyond making our host community proud, I am particularly pleased with how the school management upholds academic standards through discipline and a commitment to values.”

The chairman pledged his support and commitment to collaborating with the school as needed, ensuring a robust and mutually beneficial relationship for the prosperity of both the school community and the local government.

It is noteworthy that Matter Christi also operates a College of Health, Sciences, and Technology in Igede-Ekiti, equipped with a standard health facility providing affordable medical services to the host community.
