Ekiti News reports that a 22-year-old man, Ayo Daramola, has been arraigned before an Ado-Ekiti magistrates’ court over alleged possession of charms.
The Ekiti State Police Command through the Police prosecutor, Inspector Moyosola Adesola, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on March 25, at about 10am in Ado-Ekiti, alleging that the police found in the possession of the defendant criminal charms contrary to Section 147(b) of the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State, 2021.
Mr Olawumi Olowolafe, counsel to the defendant urged the court to grant his client bail.
Mrs Olubunmi Bamidele, the Magistrate granted the defendant bail in the sum of N20,000 and adjourned the case to April 17.
