The Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN), Ekiti State Chapter, has empowered vulnerable and underprivileged women in the state.

The group appreciated individuals whose financial contributions ensured the success of the program.

Ekiti News reports that the empowerment took place during the recently concluded FOMWAN week.

According to the Muslim women’s group, the initiative provided food and financial assistance to vulnerable women across the state, offering relief amidst the nation’s economic challenges.

Speaking while presenting the cash donation to the beneficiaries in Ado-Ekiti, Hajia Aisha Jimoh, the state Amirah of FOMWAN, said the gesture was meant to uplift the vulnerable women to become economically and financially independent.

Expressing appreciation, FOMWAN, thanked Allah for the success of the FOMWAN week.

They also extended their gratitude to the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Political Office holders, Islamic scholars, past FOMWAN leaders and NACOMYO for their support.
