Ekiti News reports that construction work has commenced on the Okeyinmi-Ijigbo flyover bridge in Ado Ekiti, with the demolition of marked structures to facilitate the seamless execution of the project.

Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, the State Commissioner for Information disclosed this in Ado Ekiti, highlighting that the project aims to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance safety for motorists and pedestrians.

Acknowledging the potential inconvenience during construction, Rt. Hon. Olatunbosun urged residents to remain patient, emphasizing the long-term benefits of the flyover.

He reiterated Governor Oyebanji’s commitment to rapid development, emphasizing the project’s role in improving socioeconomic activities and security.

Olatunbosun assured residents of efforts to minimize disruption, with rehabilitated alternate routes to ease traffic flow. He pledged strict monitoring to ensure timely completion and quality workmanship.

Expected to be completed within eighteen months, the flyover will offer a safe and efficient crossing, benefitting residents and commuters for years to come.

The Commissioner encouraged continued patience and understanding as infrastructure improvements enhance community safety and prosperity.
