Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the ongoing flyover project in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
The Governor, accompanied by Engr. (Dr.) John Moyo Ekundayo, the Special Adviser and Director General of the Office of Transformation and Service Delivery (OTSD), conducted an on-site assessment of the project.
Governor Oyebanji during the visit commended the quality of the construction and urged the contractor to maintain consistency in their efforts to ensure the project’s timely completion.
He said, “The progress so far is commendable, and the quality of the construction work is impressive.
“I encourage the contractor to remain diligent and consistent in their efforts to meet our expectations and deadlines.”
Governor also praised the expertise of the professionals within the Ministry of Works, noting their significant contributions to the project’s advancement.
The Governor also highlighted the pivotal role of the OTSD, under the leadership of Ekundayo, in monitoring and evaluating the project’s progress.
The DG OTSD reiterated the commitment of his office to ensuring the highest standards in project execution through rigorous monitoring and evaluation.
Ekundayo stressed that the collaboration between the Ministry of Works and the OTSD was crucial to the successful delivery of the flyover project.
Ekiti News reports that the Ado Ekiti flyover is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity within the city, contributing to the overall development of Ekiti State.
