The Chairman of Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, Mr. Samuel Adewumi Abejide, has joined the people of Ekiti State and other admirers to celebrate the 91st birthday of Pa Ezekiel Oyebanji, father of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
Abejide describes Pa Oyebanji as an embodiment of character, wisdom, strength and grace, which, he says, have reflected in the life of the governor as a humble and diligent leader whose commitment to serving the people of Ekiti State is gratifying.

The chairman praised Pa Oyebanji’s remarkable life of service, saying, “Pa Oyebanji is an icon of wisdom, integrity, and selflessness, and his contributions to the growth and development of Ekiti State, especially as a Grade A school principal, are immeasurable, thus making it a worthwhile celebration of this milestone birthday with him.”
According to the APC leader, Pa Oyebanji’s long life is a testament to his resilience, character and strong spirit, noting that “as he marks this incredible milestone, we celebrate a nonagenarian who continues to offer valuable insights and guidance to his son, the governor”.
The chairman also expressed gratitude for Pa Oyebanji’s enduring support and guidance, which, he said, had been helpful in shaping the lives of his children and grandchildren, noting that his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
He therefore enjoined the people of Ekiti State to emulate the peaceful ways of life of the nonagenarian to enable the governor deliver on his mandate.
