*… passes confidence vote in LG boss

A First Class Monarch in Ekiti State, the Attah of Ayede Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Mumini Orisagbemi, has described the Chairman of the Ajoni Local Council Development Area, Hon. Michael Ogungbemi, as a pacesetter in rural development.

The monarch said several policies and programmes initiated by the Chairman had elevated the lives of rural dwellers and reduced the scourge of poverty and neglect at the third tier.

The traditional ruler gave the encomiums on Wednesday during a courtesy visit to the council headquarters in Ayedun Ekiti, where he was received by the management team.

The Monarch, who described the Chairman as a pacesetter among his colleagues in grassroots development in Ekiti State, reiterated the strong and cordial relationship that exists between himself and the Chairman being blue blooded, both from the maternal and paternal heritage in Ayede and Iyemero Ekiti.

He said the spirit of brotherhood between the two towns remains indivisible, while commending the superlative leadership qualities of the Chairman.

Oba Orisagbemi expressed delight in the wonderful and impressive developmental strides of the Chairman across Ajoni LCDA.

The Chairman, in his usual humility, appreciated the Kabiyesi for the visit and assured him of continued collaboration for the progress of Ajoni.

The Attah of Ayede expressed great satisfaction with the quality and pace of work, applauding the workaholic and diligent Chairman for what he described as a good job well done.

He further commended the Chairman as a worthy son of the Ajoni people, Kabiyesi equally and publicly passed a vote of confidence in the Chairman performance in the administration of the LCDA, and assured him of his unwavering and unalloyed support in his political journey.

As part of the visit, the Chairman conducted the royal father on an inspection tour of the newly constructed modern administrative building of the LCDA, which is waiting to be commissioned soonest.

Ogungbemi, expressed profound gratitude to the Attah for the honor and for his fatherly counsel, royal blessings and encouragement.

He reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the developmental agenda and delivering on the mandate entrusted to him, in line with the vision and good governance ideals exemplified by the administration of his Boss, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
