The Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima has hailed the exemplary leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State.
Ekiti News reports that the Vice President, during his visit to Ado-Ekiti, the state capital on Thursday to inaugurate the third edition of the MSMEs clinic and unveil a road project, expressed that Ekiti is experiencing unprecedented prosperity.
Senator Shettima, characterizing Oyebanji as a dedicated leader, highlighted that the Governor has successfully united influential figures from the state for the betterment of the Sgood.
The Vice President said, “For you in Ekiti, you have never had it so good.
“As Martin Luther King rightly said, we either learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools. I am quite delighted, the crème de la crème of Ekiti have aligned themselves with the governor for the greater good of Ekiti state.”
Senator Shettima, who toured Ado-Ekiti to inaugurate a road project, visit the Ewi’s palace, and the Adire Ekiti Hub, remarked on the profound affection and respect the people of the state hold for Governor Oyebanji.
He noted that President Bola Tinubu regards the Governor highly and assured that the Presidency will offer unwavering support to him.
Senator Shettima also thanked Opeyemi Bamidele, the Senate Majority Leader representing Ekiti Central and Dele Alake, the Minister of Solid Minerals who accompanied him on the visit to the State.
The Vice President at the launching of the MSMEs clinic announced the Federal Government plans to establish an Information Communication Technology (ICT) hub in Ekiti State in addition to the newly inaugurated MSME Clinics Garment Hub in a bid to further enhance economic growth in the state.
Senator Shettima revealed that the new ICT hub was in honour of the request made by Oyebanji for the creation of an ICT hub during his last visit to the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
