Comrade Suleiman Muhyideen Oluwatoba, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Enlightenment, has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State for winning the prestigious Independent Newspaper’s Governor of the Year Award (Community Development), Ekiti News reports.
Expressing gratitude to the Independent Newspaper for bestowing the honour upon Governor Oyebanji, Comrade Suleiman emphasized the governor’s dedication to transparent governance and his inclusive approach to partnering with stakeholders irrespective of political affiliations.
According to the governor’s aide, communities across the state have witnessed remarkable progress, propelled by initiatives aimed at development.
Acknowledging the significant strides made under Governor Oyebanji’s administration, Comrade Suleiman highlighted key achievements, including the extensive construction of roads, the restoration of electricity to long-deprived communities, the recruitment of teachers for both primary and secondary schools, and the enhancement of various sectors through effective governance and the patronage of local contractors facilitated by the enactment of a local content law.
