In a bid to promote educational development, the lawmaker representing Ekiti North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Cyril Fasuyi has released the sum of Three Million Naira (₦3,000,000) to support the Free UTME JAMB Scheme for students.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Director of Media, Hon. Ameobi Abimbola in Friday.
The donation is aimed at alleviating financial barriers to higher education by covering the UTME registration fees for selected candidates. Senator Fasuyi’s gesture highlights his commitment to empowering young people and fostering educational advancement in the community.
“Education is the foundation of our society,” Senator Fasuyi said, expressing his enthusiasm for the scheme.
The selected candidates will be contacted starting Wednesday, 4th February 2025, to complete their registration at the FUOYE ICT Centre, Oye Ekiti.
