The Executive Chairman of Okemesi/Ido-Ile Local Council Development Area of Ekiti State, Hon. Ajibade Owolabi has prayed and extended his warmest greetings and good wishes to all Muslims.
This is contained in a statement signed on behalf of the Chairman by the Secretary to the LCDA, Hon. Sesan Jayeola on Tuesday, in Okemesi-Ekiti.
Hon. Owolabi says the month of Ramadan is a time of spiritual reawakening which demands not only to abstain from food and drinks but also from all wrong doings.
“I appeal to us to cooperate and keep faith with government at every level, our hope shall surely be renewed through our togetherness.
“Let us be more committed to the development of our dear state Ekiti most especially Okemesi /Ido Ile LCDA through our support to our amiable and workaholic Governor, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
The statement added “May this Ramadan inspire you and give you the courage to go through the challenges of life and triumph. May Allah bestow your life with happiness, good health, and prosperity.
“May your hearts be filled with endurance, make your path closer to the deen, and raise your taqwa.
“I wish the entire Muslim Ummah a successful Ramadan. Amin. Ramadan Kareem.”, he prayed.
