The health outreach tour by spouses of members of the 7th Ekiti State House of Assembly entered its second day with visits to health centres in Gboyin, Ise/Orun, Emure, and Ikere Local Government Areas.

The team, led by Mrs. Adenike M. Aribasoye, wife of the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, received a warm reception at each of the centres visited. The group donated essential clinical items to boost healthcare delivery in the host communities.

Speaking during the visit, Mrs. Aribasoye reiterated the group’s commitment to supporting the people and promoting better health outcomes across the state.

“Our goal is to positively impact lives. As our spouses – the Honourable members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly – continue to make laws that improve the lives of citizens, we are also determined to complement their efforts through initiatives like this,” she said.

The outreach is part of the broader vision to support the state government’s drive to ensure the dividends of democracy reach the grassroots, especially in the area of healthcare.
