OUR SECRET:
Our secret is the unbroken chain between our yesteryear, yesterday and today as represented by ONA-JKF-BAO. Their loyalty to each other and trust in each other has no Part Two and it produces an unbroken chain with no weak link.
The trio is constituted by the first democratically elected governor of the State, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, the longest serving governor of the State, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi and the current serving governor of the State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji. Together they produce an unbroken chain of the best experience you can get in governance anywhere in Nigeria today.
They are all in one accord and they speak in one accord. No state is like Ekiti in this link. The trio represent our past, our present and will produce our future.
Of course we know the strategy of our enemies: they’re busy cooking the soup of “Strike the Shepherd and the Sheep Will Scatter,” which translates to “quash the leader, and their followers will disburse and cause less harm.” But they have failed in their mission even before they jet out.
The ONA-JKF-BAO DNA is too strong to be eroded by any politician alive today. They had never fought, they are not fighting, they cannot fight and they will not fight. For as long as this truth holds, our party, the APC, will continue to wax strong and dominate the politics in Ekiti State.
Our continuity mantra is not in words only, it is in action and it is in a strong vision. Ekiti people have keyed into it and will not trade it for any other. This is our continuity agenda, plus the fact that BAO’s shared prosperity and pro-people governing act is working wonders in the state.
To those advancing their self centered interest that it’s too early to start preaching the BAO-for-2nd-Term gospel, please hold your peace and know that it had started ever since Day One of BAO in office, if not much earlier, and it is entrenched in the unbroken chain of our continuity agenda.
If there is any other political party in Ekiti or even in any other part of the South West Nigeria that has this type of strength, please draw our attention to it and we will defer to such party.
Otherwise, let us continue to enjoy our God-granted dominance for as long as the ONA-JKF-BAO can hold us. One with BAO today is one with ONA, one with JKF and even one with another two-term governor of the state, Ayodele Peter Fayose, the stormy petrel of Ekiti politics, who still has the balls of the PDP in our state in his palms as at today.
This is the secret of our continued success, and the secret of our continuity in government, which we are not willing to trade off. Know this, know peace.
