…Commends President Tinubu for Appointment

The Olúfàkì of Ifaki Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) John Adegbenro Falore (Ajigbade III), has congratulated Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi on his nomination as the pioneer Chairman of the South West Development Commission (SWDC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement made available to the newsmen, Olufaki described the nomination as well-deserved, citing Senator Adetunmbi’s proven leadership skills and track record of credible service in both public and private life.
“Senator Adetunmbi is a thoroughbred professional, an accomplished agricultural economist, and a patriotic politician who has served Nigeria with integrity and excellence. His performance as a two-term Senator and his current role as Chief Economic Adviser to Ekiti State Governor speak volumes of his capacity and dedication,” the monarch stated.
Oba Adegbenro expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for considering one of Ifaki’s finest for such a strategic role, adding that the choice reflects the President’s commitment to effective regional development.
“The leadership ability of Senator Adetunmbi to steer the affairs of the SWDC is not in doubt. We are grateful to Mr. President for this honour, and we also acknowledge the role of our Governor, His Excellency Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, in recommending him,” he added.
The traditional ruler, on behalf of the entire Ifaki community, extended felicitations to Senator Adetunmbi and wished him a successful and impactful tenure in office.
