The Executive Chairman of Okemesi/Ido-LCDA in Ekiti State, Hon. Ajibade Sunday Owolabi, has generously distributed cash gifts to Muslim stakeholders in the council to mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Ekiti News reports that Hon. Owolabi stated that the gesture was aimed at supporting Muslims in the council and appreciating their unwavering support for his administration.

The Council boss urged the Muslim community to embrace patience, a virtue exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, which is central to the Ileya Festival.

Hon. Owolabi called on the faithful to continue praying for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, expressing hope that the President would steer Nigeria out of its current economic challenges.

He also solicited support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration, emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation for the state’s development.

In response, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Hon. Ajibade for his inclusive approach and for recognizing their needs during this festive period.

The gesture by Hon. Owolabi has been widely appreciated as a mark of his commitment to the well-being of all residents in the council, regardless of their religious affiliations.
