The Executive Chairman of Okemesi/Ido-Ile Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ajibade Sunday Owolabi, has called on women in Ekiti State to rally support for the re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in the 2026 governorship election.

Hon. Ajibade made the call on Thursday during an empowerment programme for families with multiple births and the aged held in Okemesi-Ekiti.

The Council boss said the Oyebanji-led administration had demonstrated a clear commitment to inclusive governance, grassroots development and social protection.

He described Governor Oyebanji as a responsive leader whose people-oriented policies continue to impact lives positively, especially at the grassroots level.

The Chairman noted that the support for families with multiple births and the elderly is a direct reflection of the governor’s inclusive and compassionate leadership.

“BAO has demonstrated uncommon love for the people of Ekiti, particularly for the most vulnerable among us. His government is practical, progressive, and people-driven. I urge our women to support and campaign for his re-election come 2026,” Hon. Ajibade stated.
