The Executive Chairman of Okemesi/Ido-Ile LCDA, Hon. Ajibade Owolabi, has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, on his recent MSMEs presidential award.
Hon. Owolabi described the award as well-deserved, citing Governor Oyebanji’s impressive performance since assuming leadership of Ekiti State.
The award was presented to Governor Oyebanji on Thursday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja by the Office of the Vice President.
Ekit News reports that the award was handed over to Ekiti State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Akintunde Oyebode, who accepted it on behalf of the Governor.
According to the council boss, the award acknowledges Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration for its substantial support of MSMEs in the state. This support encompasses favorable tax regimes, partnerships with financial institutions for funding, empowerment training, land clearing, provision of seedlings and inputs for farmers, and assistance to cooperative societies, artisans, and the informal sector through various initiatives.
Hon. Owolabi said he is proud to serve under Governor Oyebanji in the journey of redefining, repositioning, and realizing the Ekiti State of their dreams.
While congratulating the Governor, the Chairman expresses his unwavering support for Governor Oyebanji in consistently delivering democratic dividends to Ekiti people.
