The Chairman of Isokan Local Council Development Area, Hon. Ogundaisi Kayode Ezekiel, has led a delegation from the LCDA to congratulate Hon. Niyi Adebayo on his appointment as Chief of Staff to Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

The delegation included the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Felicia Adeyemo; Secretary, Hon. Bayo Famoroti; all councillors, supervisors, and advisers of the LCDA. Also present were the Acting Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Reuben Ojo Emmanuel, and Director of Finance, Mr. Femi Oni.

Hon. Ogundaisi described Hon. Adebayo’s appointment as well-deserved, citing his dedication, commitment, and leadership qualities.

He reaffirmed the LCDA’s support for Governor Oyebanji’s administration and assured their readiness to back his re-election when the time comes.

The Chairman also sought the state government’s assistance in developing an ongoing trailer park project in Ifaki Ekiti. He noted that while the land had been secured and cleared with support from the Olufaki of Ifaki Ekiti, Oba Dr. John Adegbenro Falore, and the LCDA, further amenities such as a mosque, police post, water supply, and perimeter fencing were still needed.

Hon. Ogundaisi highlighted the project’s benefits, stressing that it would reduce road accidents caused by indiscriminate parking of trailers and boost internally generated revenue for both the state and local government.

In his response, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Niyi Adebayo, expressed appreciation for the visit and commended Hon. Ogundaisi for his proactive approach to development.

He applauded the LCDA Chairman for his innovative thinking regarding the trailer park project, describing it as a laudable and viable initiative.

Hon. Adebayo assured the delegation that their message would be conveyed to Governor Oyebanji and pledged his support for initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of the people of Isokan LCDA.
