The Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti, HRM Oba (Dr.) John Adegbenro Falore (Ajigbade III), has expressed his best wishes to all Sons and Daughters of Ifaki, both at home and abroad, as they prepare to elect new representatives into positions in Ifaki Progressive Union.
Ekiti News reports that the IPU election is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Olufaki’s palace.
Olufaki in a statement signed on Tuesday, in Ifaki-Ekiti by his Media Adviser, Aina Oluwasegun, appreciates the efforts of the electoral committee and encourages them to conduct a free and fair election without sentiment for any candidate.
“Those contesting must play fair game without hatred, bitterness or malicious contents against one other.
“The election is an opportunity to serve our community and humanity at large with selfless intentions for growth. While urging all participants to embrace one another after the election with valid love to Make Ifaki-Ekiti a better place to be through cordial and harmonious relationships,” Oba Adegbenro stated.
Olufaki further commended the outgoing executives led by Pastor Ogundana for the good works done during their tenure while wishing them the best of luck in their respective endeavours.
