The Executive Chairman lkere West LCDA, Hon Rufus Olorunfemi has given scholarship to three less privilege students of Eleyo High School, lkere-Ekiti to support their educational pursuit.

The three beneficiaries students are; Abiodun Success (SS1), Abiodun Maria (JSS1), and Abiodun Korede (JSS3). The LCDA Boss stressed the importance of education and the need for supporting students.

Recognizing the challenges faced by these students, the Chairman made a generous commitment to cover their school bills, textbooks, notebooks, and other essential educational needs adding the commitment would ensures financial constraints that will not impede their academic progress.

Going beyond financial support, the Chairman also pledged to provide for the students’ well-being such as includes a 50,000 Naira and weekly stipend specifically dedicated to their feeding expenses.

This additional support demonstrates the Chairman’s holistic approach to ensuring the students’ success, recognizing that well-being plays a crucial role in academic achievement.

The Principal of Eleyo High School, Mrs Ajiremike F. F expressed profound gratitude for the Chairman’s invaluable support.
She said the Chairman’s generosity will have a life-changing impact on these students. His actions sent a powerful message that our community values education and is committed to empowering the next generation.”

“Investing in young people’s education, is tantamount to investing in the future of our community. We are committed to doing everything we can to ensure that every student have the resources and support they need to succeed”. She said.

She submitted that the initiative by the Chairman serves as a shining example of leadership that prioritizes education and empowers underprivileged youths. The Chairman’s compassion and commitment to their well-being are sure to inspire not only the students but also the entire community.

In attendance were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Ajayi Daramola, Secretary, Hon. Bayo Oso, Director of Admin (DA), Mrs Adewumi Fawekun and their entourage.
