The Executive Chairman of Okemesi/Ido-Ile LCDA in Ekiti State, Hon. Ajibade Sunday Owolabi, has extended greetings to the residents of Okemesi/Ido-Ile, wishing them prosperity and peace as they step into the month of September.

In a statement released by his media office in Okemesi-Ekiti, Hon. Ajibade emphasized the importance of embracing the new month with hope, resilience, and a commitment to the council’s collective progress.

The council boss expressed confidence in the potential for continued development and urged residents to support one another as they work towards a brighter future.

“September is a time for new beginnings and renewed energy. I encourage all residents of Okemesi/Ido-Ile to approach this month with optimism and a positive mindset. Together, we can overcome any challenges and continue to build a stronger, more vibrant council,” Hon. Ajibade said.

With the arrival of the ember months, a period traditionally approached with caution by motorists due to increased travel and potential road hazards, Hon. Ajibade also took the opportunity to address concerns related to road safety.

The council boss urged all drivers and road users in the LCDA to maintain a positive outlook and strictly adhere to safe driving practices to ensure the well-being of everyone during this busy time of year.

“The ember months should not be a time of fear or anxiety, but rather a period where we are extra vigilant and responsible, especially on our roads.

“I urge all motorists to stay positive, be mindful of traffic rules, and ensure that they drive safely to protect themselves and others. Let’s work together to make this season accident-free and full of joy,” Hon. Ajibade advised.
