The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, has warmly welcomed Muslim faithful to the holy month of Ramadan.

In a press statement, Aribasoye congratulated Muslims for witnessing this important exercise for the year, thanking God for sparing their lives to be part of it again.
“I’m pleased to thank the Almighty Allah with you, our Muslim counterparts, for being part of the Ramadan fasting period for the year 2025. Allah has sustained you to witness this so that you can maximize the period to pray, give alms, and do the needful.” Aribasoye stated.
The Speaker appreciated Muslims in the state for promoting peaceful coexistence with those of other religions and for supporting the lofty and noble agenda of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration, urging them to use this highly spiritual period to pray for the state and its leaders.
The statement added, “I beseech you to utilize this season of prayer to commit the Biodun Oyebanji administration into the hands of the Almighty for guidance, grace, wisdom, and solutions.”
He charged them to display the attributes of the fasting season and make relevant prayer intercessions for national development and global peace.
“I equally wish to advise that the typical attitudes associated with the Ramadan season be maintained by you faithful. Share what you have with those in need, pray for those in need of interventions, pray for Nigeria in this season of economic challenges, and pray that peace shall reign across the globe so we can have a more stabilized world.”
