Ekiti News reports that Party members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado Ward 9 were full of excitement this evening as the Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro, paid a courtesy visit to their ward.
During her visit, Dr. Adubiaro distributed cash to selected faithful, supporting the efforts of State Governor Mr. Biodun Oyebanji in prioritizing the welfare of party members.
Mrs. Adubiaro, in her speech praised Governor Oyebanji and his wife for their outstanding performance, noting that they have not betrayed the trust placed in them. She expressed profound appreciation to party members and leaders for their steadfast support of Governor Oyebanji’s administration and assured them of more dividends of democracy from the government.
While commending Governor Oyebanji for his exceptional performance, the SSG called on political appointees to complement the governor’s efforts by giving back to the people in their various wards, no matter how small.
“Our governor is doing well, and so is his wife. Even those in opposition parties are commending the governor for his outstanding performance. We have no regrets entrusting him with our votes.
“If the governor and his wife can do their utmost to transform the lives of the people, why can’t we appointees replicate this in our various wards? Nothing is too small to give to those we represent to make them happy and feel a sense of belonging,” added Adubiaro.
The Party Chairman of Ward 9, Mrs. Falilat Akorede, commended the SSG for giving back to party members, stating that this laudable step would go a long way in encouraging party members to do more towards the progress of the party.
Similarly, the Special Adviser to the Governor on State Capital Development, Hon. Tade Aluko, and other leaders of the ward thanked Mrs. Adubiaro for the cash empowerment and for taking the time to check on the party members.
