The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly has condoled with the family of the late General Adeyinka Adebayo on the demise of their mother, Chief (Mrs.) Modupe Adebayo.

As stated in a release by the Adebayo family of Iyin Ekiti, the late octogenarian, wife of the late General Adebayo, former military governor of old western region, passed on Saturday at the age of 85.
Aribasoye, in a statement, registered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, describing the departed woman as generous, virtuous, loving, and productive.
“When a family is noble, notable, and successful, the frontline woman in such a camp should be eulogized. Mama Adebayo falls in this category. She ticks the box as a pillar of support and a carrier of grace.” Aribasoye stated.
The Speaker, however, noted that there is much room for consolation, considering that the deceased lived well and lived right, producing successful succeeding generations.
He added that “Mama produced outstanding children, which the state, Yoruba race, and the entire country are proud of. She lived as a cherished woman in her community and an example of admirable womanhood.”
Rt. Hon. Aribasoye urged the family to take heart and take solace in Mama’s lovely life, praying that God would enable the family with the fortitude to bear the painful departure.
“Myself and the entire Ekiti State House of Assembly associate with you at this moment of grief. We pray for a soothing recovery from the inevitable loss.”
