Afolabi Ojo, popularly known as Afo has been arrested for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ekiti State Command.
Ekiti News reports that Afo was arrested at Olujoda Street, Ado-Ekiti after the mother of the girl made a formal complaint at the office of the NSCDC.
It was alleged that the suspect removed the pants of the four-year-old and had carnal knowledge of her late last month.
The mother of the girl, who spoke to newsmen, stated that her daughter informed her about the incident.
Meanwhile, Afo denied all claims saying he was implicated.
However, Tolu Afolabi, the Public Relations Officer of the NSCDC said a medical report has confirmed that the hymen of the “little” girl has been broken, adding that the investigation is ongoing.
