Today, the Chairman of Ekiti South East LCDA, Hon. Chief Mrs. Anthonia Alaba Omonusi, fulfilled her promise to donate a 3000WHT Firman generator to the A.U.D Central Mosque, Kota/Isaya Ekiti. This gesture was made possible after the chairman discovered the mosque’s need during the recently concluded Ramadan celebrations this year.
The generator will provide power to the mosque, facilitating the pumping of borehole water for worshippers to perform ablution during Jummat services.
The chairman was represented by Hon. Femi Olaitan, Vice Chairman, and Hon. Owoyemi Adebamigbe, Secretary to the LCDA. The Chief Imam of the mosque, Alhaji Tajudeen Bello, received the donation on behalf of the congregation and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the chairman and the LCDA management.
He prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and sustainability for the government at LCDA and the state governor, H.E. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
