Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State will tomorrow Tuesday, 9th July 2024, launch a soft loan scheme aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs in the state.

Ekiti News reports that the initiative, a collaboration between the Ekiti State Government and Access Bank Plc, will provide low-interest rate loans to women-led businesses, helping them access vital working capital.

Mrs. Tayo Adeola, the State Commissioner for Trade, Industries, Investment, and Cooperatives, highlighted the initiative’s goal to bridge financial gaps and support women’s business aspirations, significantly impacting the state’s economy.

The Deputy Governor, Chief Mrs. Monisade Afuye will lead a ‘road work’ as part of the program today in Ado Ekiti.

The road work is to sensitise market women, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders about the scheme’s benefits.

Guests are advised to be seated at the Lady Jibowu Hall, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, by 10:00 AM on Tuesday for the official launch.
