Job seekers in Ekiti State have been presented with a new opportunity as the State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) sets to commence recruitment into teaching and non-teaching positions across public secondary schools.
According to a statement issued in Ado Ekiti by the Commissioner for Information, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, the application portal will officially open at midnight on Sunday, 28th April 2025, and will close by midnight on Monday, 12th May 2025.
Applicants are to submit their applications online via https://tescom.eksgapps.com, where they will fill out the required form and upload necessary documents such as passport photographs, valid ID, and academic qualifications.
The statement highlighted that the teaching roles span various subjects including Mathematics, English Language, Literature-in-English, Civic Education, Yoruba, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics, Financial Accounting, and Government.
Also listed are subjects such as Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Religious Studies, History, Geography, Basic Science, Computer Studies, Business Studies, Basic Technology, Guidance and Counseling, French, Music, Fine Arts, Physical and Health Education, Home Economics, and Arabic.
For non-teaching roles, TESCOM will recruit for positions like Secretariat Assistant, Laboratory Attendant, and Library Attendant.
The Commission encouraged all eligible candidates to apply within the stipulated window, noting that the process will be strictly online.
