The Federation of Muslim Women Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN), Ekiti State chapter, has expressed gratitude and extended congratulations to its members and their spouses who were recently appointed as board members in Ekiti state.

In a statement signed by the Amirah, Jimoh Aishat Oluwatoyin, the association commended Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) for recognizing and appointing individuals of integrity and competence to serve on on various state boards.

FOMWAN acknowledged the appointments of Alhaja Sulaiman Adebola Suwebat and Alhaja Fatima Bello as members of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, and Alhaja Arilewola Lateefat as a member of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).

In addition, the association congratulated their spouses—Alhaji Salman Adedipe (Chairman, Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board), Alhaji Ademola Bello (Chairman, State Emergency Management Agency), and Alhaji Qazeem Oladapo (Sport Development Trust Fund Agency).

The association expressed confidence in the capabilities of these appointees, stating that the governor has placed “round pegs in round holes.”

FOMWAN also extended congratulations to all Muslim appointees across the state who have been entrusted with public service roles.
