The statewide endorsement rally earlier fixed for Tuesday, July 23, 2025, in honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has been shifted to Monday, July 28, 2025.
This was contained in a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti by the Public Relations Officer of the Central Organizing Committee of the Endorsement Crusade and Head of the Media Subcommittee, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun.
Olatunbosun explained that the event will still hold at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion, along New Iyin Road, Ado-Ekiti, by 10:00am, adding that all parts of the state would be represented at the rally.
According to him, the change in date was part of “strategic efforts to ensure seamless participation, improved logistical coordination across all local government areas, and to allow adequate scheduling time for key stakeholders and political leaders to ensure robust attendance.”
The statement further read: “The Organizing Committee extends its appreciation to the media and the general public for their continued support and commitment to this significant engagement, which aims to reaffirm the support of Ekiti people for the leadership of President Tinubu and Governor Oyebanji.”
It added: “We deeply appreciate the enthusiasm and support shown towards this important gathering and count on your continued cooperation as we prepare to host a truly inclusive and impactful event in honor of our esteemed leaders.”
