Thousands of Ekiti residents on Monday stormed the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion along New Iyin Road in Ado-Ekiti to declare their support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT), Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), and Deputy Governor Monisade Afuye (MCA).
As early as 7 a.m., the expansive pavilion was already filled to capacity with supporters from across the state, including artisans, civil servants, pensioners, market leaders, persons with disabilities (PWD), commercial drivers, okada riders, religious leaders, and traditional chiefs. Many of the groups wore customised uniforms to express their solidarity.
The colourful event was marked by singing, dancing, and the display of placards and banners carrying various messages calling for continuity and celebrating the achievements of the current administration in Ekiti State and at the federal level.
