The people of Ekiti State have openly endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji for second term in office.
The statewide endorsement was held on Monday at the popular Ekiti Parapo Pavilion in Ado-Ekiti, where stakeholders from across the state gathered in large numbers to express their approval.
The motion for President Tinubu’s endorsement was moved by the Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, and seconded by Hon. Femi Bamisile, member of the House of Representatives.
In a similar move, the endorsement of Governor Oyebanji and his deputy, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, was moved by the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye. The motion was seconded by the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Bolaji Egbeyemi.
The motions were unanimously adopted by the people of Ekiti State signaling a strong show of support for the continuity of the current administration at both state and federal levels.
