Barrister Yemi Ayodele Ayeni (Barr. YAA) has once again demonstrated his commitment to philanthropy by awarding a full scholarship to Miss Jumoke Olatunji, a 100-level student of Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE).

At a special event, Barrister Ayeni received the “Special Meritorious Service Award for Outstanding Performance in Youth and Community Development,” recognising his contributions to education and youth empowerment.

In his acceptance speech, he expressed appreciation to FUOYE’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina, for his leadership in advancing the university. He pledged to collaborate with FUOYE to create overseas study opportunities for students.

Barrister Ayeni’s decision to support Miss Olatunji was inspired by a viral video showcasing her resilience. Touched by her determination, he committed to funding her education, ensuring financial constraints do not hinder her progress.

“Jumoke’s courage is inspiring. She is determined to succeed, and I am honoured to support her academic journey,” he stated.

Grateful for the opportunity, Miss Olatunji, from Igbara Odo-Ekiti, promised to excel in her studies and extend similar support to others in the future.

Beyond this gesture, Barrister Ayeni sponsors over 15 students in FUOYE and other institutions, reaffirming his dedication to education and community development. His generosity continues to transform lives, serving as an inspiration for others to invest in the future of Nigerian youths.
