…A performing regime deserves continuity, says Aribasoye

The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, alongside stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti North Senatorial District, on Tuesday declared support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election.

With the next governorship election in Ekiti State fast approaching, political leaders, stakeholders, and APC members in Ekiti North Senatorial District have unanimously endorsed Governor Biodun Oyebanji for a second term to maintain continuity in governance and effective service delivery.

Aribasoye, who led State Assembly members from the Senatorial District to the grand endorsement event held in Ido-Ekiti, praised the Governor for his outstanding leadership and the unparalleled development brought about by his administration.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Media, Babajide Agbeyo, and made available to journalists, the Speaker, while leading the declaration, warned that no individual or group would be allowed to hinder the state’s ongoing development. He emphasized the need for unity and collective effort to sustain the progress recorded under Governor Oyebanji’s leadership.

The Speaker, who also addressed journalists at the event in his capacity as Co-Chairman of the Planning, Logistics, and Media Committee, stressed that the people of Ekiti North Senatorial District must appreciate Governor Oyebanji’s good works by endorsing him for a second term, thereby positioning him for higher service to the state beyond 2026.

Highlighting that good products are marketable, Aribasoye described the performance of the Governor during his current term in office as excellent.

“It is evidently clear that one good term deserves another, particularly for a progressive, amiable, and trustworthy leader like Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.” Aribasoye submitted.

Other leaders across the district took turns to emphasize the importance of continuity in sustaining the spate of development in the state, saying the Oyebanji administration has laid a strong foundation for inclusive governance and all-round growth.

Other dignitaries at the event included the Senator from the district, Cyril Fajuyi; Federal lawmakers Akinlayo Kolawole and Akin Rotimi; Ekiti APC Chairman, Barr. Sola Eleshin; as well as former and serving members of the State and National Assembly.

Governor in his response was both pleased and grateful by the overwhelming support and endorsement noting that the confidence reposed in him has again echoed the place of collective responsibility to serve the people of the State.

Represented by his Special Adviser on Political Matters and inter-party affairs, Chief Jide Awe, the governor assured of his government’s continued steadfastness in mandate delivery adding that every decision and project undertaken by his government have been guided by the overreaching goal of improving the quality of life for all citizens.
