Hon. Davies Adeoye Adeyemo, the Executive Chairman of Ayekire Local Government in Ekiti State, has endorsed Governor Oyebanji for a second term.
The Chairman pledged his total support and mobilization efforts to ensure the governor’s re-election, highlighting the rapid development Oyebanji has brought to the State since taking office.
This was contained in a statement released by the Media office of the Chairman on Wednesday.
“We’re excited to have you in our dear state. You’ve brought rapid development to Ekiti State in all areas, and your efforts to lift Ekiti from a low-income status have yielded significant results in less than two years of your administration,” Adeyemo said.
He continued, “I will continue to support and mobilize for your second term. Governor Oyebanji has the right background, the right skills, and the right message to be our party’s consensus candidate in the 2026 governorship election.”
Adeyemo praised Governor Oyebanji’s deep understanding of the state’s needs, emphasizing the governor’s local roots and commitment to the people.
He stated, “Ekiti needs someone like you who hasn’t spent his whole career outside the state. They need someone from within, who understands their needs during difficult times, not a runaway government money spender.”
The Council boss lauded Governor Oyebanji’s achievements, noting, “Ekiti is presently lucky to have a man with a heart of gold, who has the love of the masses at heart. You have fulfilled at least 70% of all your campaign promises.”
