The Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission Chairman, Chief Samuel Alaba Abejide, has extended his heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended and supported his birthday celebration held in his country home, Ipao Ekiti.
The Chairman, in a statement personally signed by him, expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering support of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
He highlighted the governor’s dedication to local government service, workers’ welfare, and improving service delivery at the grassroots level.
Chief Abejide praised Governor Oyebanji’s administrative skills and political acumen, noting that they are commendable and serve as an inspiration to everyone in Ekiti State.
The Chairman expressed his gratitude to all the guests, especially the Senator representing Ekiti North Senatorial District, Senator Cyril Fasuyi; the House of Representatives member representing Ekiti Federal Constituency I, MHR Akin Rotimi; the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye; the Commissioner for Finance, Akin Oyebode; Commissioner for Health, Sola Filani; the board members and Permanent Secretary of the Local Government Service Commission; the immediate past Chairman of the Ekiti State Chapter of Amotekun, Chief Akin Aregbesola; Royal Majesties; APC Party Chairman, Hon. Barrister Sola Elesin; chairmen of LGAs and LCDAs; political leaders; and public servants who joined the celebration and offered their well-wishes.
The Chairman noted that their presence and goodwill messages made the occasion truly memorable and special.
Chief Abejide expressed his commitment to strengthening local government services and promoting sustainable empowerment programs for widows and the less privileged in his constituency.
He noted that approximately 400 individuals received empowerment incentives, and 50 party faithfuls were provided with monthly allowances.
The LGSC boss added that the support and encouragement received from all those who attended his birthday celebration would further motivate him to impact lives positively, even as he said that he would continue to commit himself to the service of humanity.
The Chairman added that the presence and kind gestures of all those who attended his birthday celebration are deeply valued and will be remembered with gratitude.
