Chairman lkere Local Government, Hon Olu Adamolekun Egbejoda, Chairman lkere West LCDA, Hon Rufus Olorunfemi and House of Assembly member representing lkere Constituency 2 at the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Tunde Idowu, have extended their felicitations to the Muslims Ummah as the holy month of Ramadan commences.
The Council Boss, Hon. (Sqn Ldr Rtd) Olu Adamolekun Egbejoda, affectionately known as Ajoras, extends his warm felicitations to the Muslim community in Ikere Local Government on the start of the 30-day Ramadan fast. He calls on the faithful to use this holy season to fervently pray for the well-being of Ikere LG, Ekiti State, and the success of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration.
In a press statement released by his media aide following the moon’s sighting, which heralds the beginning of Ramadan, Chairman Egbejoda shared his message of solidarity and spirituality.
“As Muslim faithful in Ikere join their counterparts around the world to embark on this year’s Ramadan, observing days of fasting and prayerful devotion, let us reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), which emphasize the fear of God, leading to self-discipline, love, kindness, and fairness in our actions. This is a time to stand against the malevolent forces plaguing our land and to seek the flourishing of our economy. May this holy month infuse our homes in Ikere, across Ekiti State, and throughout our nation with joy and prosperity. Amen,” said Chairman Olu Adamolekun.
Member representing Ikere Constituency 2 at the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Hon. Tunde Idowu popularly known as “Unbreakable”, extends his warmest wishes to all Muslim brothers and sisters in Ikere and across Nigeria as they embark on the holy month of Ramadan.
Hon. Idowu in a statement by his media aide, says “Ramadan Mubarak,”. “This holy month is a time for spiritual reflection, devotion to Allah, and acts of charity. May this Ramadan bring peace, forgiveness, and blessings to all Muslims.”
Hon. Idowu encourages his constituents to use this opportunity to strengthen their faith, increase their prayers, and connect with those in need. “Let us use this holy month to reflect on our actions and recommit ourselves to the values of compassion, kindness, and generosity,” he adds.
Hon. Idowu wishes everyone a peaceful and rewarding Ramadan.

He urges on the faithful to utilize the period to pray for Ikere local government, Ekiti State, and Nigeria as a whole.
