The visionary leadership of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has ushered in a new era of growth, inclusion, and sustainable development across Ekiti State. In less than three years of purposeful governance, Mr. Governor has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the shared prosperity of our people, delivering ceaselessly on his promises with integrity, accountability, and compassion from infrastructural renewal to human capital development.
From day one, the goal has been to build a State that works for everyone from farmers to traders and artisans. We are investing in the people, in infrastructure, and in systems that promote fairness, innovation, sustainable growth, and security. The progress so far is a testament to what is possible when leadership meets genuine public interest.
We are indeed very proud of the achievements of this strategic and decisive leader who has inspired trust to the point of automatically earning the people’s support for a second term in office. He is an efficient administrator who leads with integrity, governs with competence, listens with empathy, and works relentlessly to improve lives.
We are therefore neither afraid nor dismayed by the thought of either the primary or the main election victory is certain.
Today, Ekiti is ranked among the top States for fiscal responsibility, budget transparency, and civil service reform. Farmers now enjoy access to inputs, credit, mechanized tools, and offtake markets through the Agricultural Investment Drive and the ‘Bring Back the Youths in Agriculture’ initiative.
Our young people are benefitting through the Ekiti Youth Economic Empowerment Programme (E-YEEP), schools are being renovated, teachers empowered, and digital tools introduced. Healthcare is being revitalized, roads expanded across senatorial districts, and peace and security enhanced.
Governor Oyebanji’s inclusive leadership has fostered unity, peace, and a sense of ownership among citizens. His administration listens, learns, and leads with the people at the center of every decision.
As we reflect on the journey so far, I am immensely proud of how far Ekiti has come. These strides, achieved in such a short period, underscore the Governor’s sincerity of purpose, strategic vision, and deep love for our people.
