A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr. Shola Olaleye, has congratulated Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi on his appointment as Chairman of the newly established South West Development Commission (SWDC).
Olaleye, who hails from Ayetoro-Ekiti, described the appointment made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as well-deserved, citing Senator Adetunmbi’s integrity, intelligence, and courage as qualities that will drive meaningful development in the region.
He stated, “Senator Adetunmbi is a man of proven character and excellence. His record as a two-term Senator from Ifaki-Ekiti speaks volumes. His leadership style and dedication to public service are commendable.”
While extending his felicitation on behalf of his political associates, Olaleye also appreciated the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for supporting the nomination.
He expressed confidence that Senator Adetunmbi would bring impactful leadership to the South West Development Commission, aimed at improving the socio-economic growth of the region.
