The Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye yesterday presided over the plenary session of the House.
At the session, the report of the Adhoc Committee on the Ekiti Pension Reform Law, First Amendment Bill (2025), the report of the Committee on Education, Science, and Technology on the Ekiti State Senior Secondary School Board Bill (2025), and the consideration of the Ekiti State House of Assembly Service Commission, Loans Board Amendment Bill (2025), were brought to the floor of the House.
While other issues were stepped down, the report of the Committee on Infrastructure and Utilities was delibrated upon at the executive session.
Following the outcome of the executive session, the House resolved that Iworoko Market be relocated and that the contractor handling the Ado-Iworoko Road beout invited for meaningful engagement on how to best mitigate the incessant occurrence of accidents through construction that puts into consideration the peculiarity of the Iworoko road, among many other things.
Also, the Commissioner of Finance was invited to attend the next executive session of the whole House to speak on the Ekiti Pension Reform Laws.
