Ekiti News reports that a Point of Sale (PoS) agent, popularly known as Alfa Taofeek, has been killed by unknown gunmen along Teaching Hospital Road in Ado Ekiti.
According to reports, the assailants arrived on a motorbike, shot Alfa Taofeek, and fled with his money and other valuables.
A local source who requested anonymity revealed that Alfa was just opening his shop after dropping his children at school when the attackers struck.
Sympathizers were seen gathered at the scene, describing the deceased as humble and easygoing, and urged the police to put an end to such killings.
Ekiti News had reported on Tuesday that in the Okesa area of the state capital, Okada ticket operator was gunned down by assailants on a motorbike.
