Hon. (Sqn Ldr Rtd) Olu Egbejoda Adamolekun Egbejoda, the Executive Chairman of Ikere Local Government has reached out to the Muslim community in Ikere Local Government for Eid-el-Kabir by donating three ‘Ileya’ rams and government palliative rice.

Ekiti News reports that the council boss, who extended his felicitations to the Muslim Ummah ahead of Eid-el-Kabir, stated that the gesture aligns with Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration’s commitment to bringing joy to the residents.

“In the spirit of festivity, we have procured three rams and presented them along with palliative rice from the state government to the Muslim community, under the leadership of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in Ikere Local Government. These were received by Alhaji Amiru Isiaka, representing the council’s chairman.

“Although our efforts may not reach all Muslims, it is a token demonstrating our commitment to the Muslim community,” said Adamolekun.

The Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in Ikere Local Government, while taking delivery of the gifts, appreciated the Chairman’s gesture and offered prayers for him.
