Ekiti News reports that on Thursday, 06 June 2024, the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, will declare open the third Expanded National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Clinics in Ekiti State.

Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, the State Commissioner for Information disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

The event will be held at Bishop Adetiloye Hall at the Trade Fair Complex, Old Iyin Road, Ado-Ekiti by 9 a.m. 

According to the Commissioner, the MSMEs clinics seek to accelerate the growth and success of MSMEs by finding and implementing lasting solutions to unique problems that MSMEs face, boosting their access to capital, aiding them in formalising their businesses and advertising their products amongst many other benefits.

The Government spokesman noted that the clinics also allow business owners to interact with relevant Federal Government agencies and regulatory bodies. 

He said that the initiative forms part of the Federal Government and Ekiti state’s initiatives for enhancing the ease of doing business. It also affirms Ekiti State Government’s commitment to the progress of youths and MSMEs which constitute a major part of the BAO administration’s governance pillars, specifically human capital development, infrastructure and industrialisation, and Youth development and job creation. 

The Commissioner urge entrepreneurs in Ekiti state to attend this event and judiciously use the opportunities offered.
