Today, Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State is scheduled to flag off the payment of compensation to owners of farmlands and properties affected by the construction of the Ekiti Ring Road Project.
Ekiti News reports that Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun, the State Commissioner for Information disclosed this in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday.
The Commissioner said the programme is scheduled to hold at the mini Pavilion at Fajuyi in Ado Ekiti at 10.00am.
Olatunbosun while reiterating the commitment of the Oyebanji’s administration to the general well-being of the people and fairness to all concerned, assured that payment of the compensation would be fair, adequate and prompt to all affected parties, adding that the focus is to rapidly develop the State without negatively affecting the citizenry.
The Commissioner solicited the continued support of all and sundry for efforts of the present administration to develop the State and make life more meaningful for the people.
